Born-2-Move has adequate software to support the modeling effort and has substantial experience with Network Design tools, based on the CPLEX Linear Programming solver. Our approach to modeling is initially independent of the modeling platform, thus allowing us to select the right tool for the job. This platform independent approach allows us to be more objective and flexible during the early design phases and to build the model with the right amount of complexity to meet client's requirements and expectations.

Several other applications will be used for activities such as distance calculation, transportation rating and flow mapping. Additional data manipulation and analysis will be performed using a variety of readily available software packages and custom developed tools and applications.

Where needed, Born-2-Move will partner with software providers to get the right tool for the right job. One example of such a partnership is with Agillence Optimization Company, Reston (USA). Agillence offers unprecedented optimization power through its suite of next generation optimization engines for supply chain, logistics, and transportation. These optimization engines combine strategic and tactical design and are created to optimize lean logistics networks. Inbound examples of lean logistics are found in the automotive industry to support JIT production. Retailers also need lean logistics, in the outbound supply chain, due to store space restrictions. Examples:

Agillence Supply Chain Designer(ASCD): To design supply chain networks with special consideration to multi-stop and delivery frequency constraints.

Agillence Lean Logistics Optimizer (ALLO): To design high frequency, low inventory lean logistics networks.
